Hypewriter is the first international TV Pitch forum held in Budapest, Hungary. The event was established in 2018 by Paprika TV in collaboration with RTL Hungary with the aim to evolve in high quality television series content production.
After the immense success and vast numbers of applications of the first edition, the Hypewriter Original TV Series Pitch Forum is back to seek out once again the greatest talents and finest original TV series ideas. The winning project of the 2018 edition, ‘The Butcher’ is currently under development and is planned to go into production in early 2019.
Hypewriter is seeking the next great idea for television series – without any genre restrictions.
8 selected projects are to be judged by a jury at the Pitch Forum Event. The jury will be comprised of prominent representatives of culture, film theory, as well as filmmakers. The selected finalists will get the chance to participate at a pitch training prior to the Pitch Forum Event.
